Whatever It Takes

The best way to make a marriage last was to never give up no matter what happened. Drown him in love and affection; give him absolutely all that she had. Maybe then he’d realize the extent of her love, realize what he had in her then he wouldn’t stray. That’s what Delphine Smith thought, but the reality is something entirely different. Her husband Derrick is never home, and when he is, he’s whispering on the phone. That is not how a marriage should be. Now she is prepared to do whatever it takes to make her marriage work.
Her sister Essence has issues of her own. Her family has never accepted her for who she is. They don’t approve of her boyfriend Collin; probably because he’s in jail and they know she can do better. To make herself happy, Essence will do whatever it takes to make that happen.
