I'm well into the FIRE movement and I thought this was an enjoyable read. There are a few typos in the book, but those certainly don't negate the story or message. It's always interesting to hear about everyone's different journeys to FIRE.
Nice book to get into the FIRE movement. Frank explains the steps to take retire early which helps to give more time for other things such as hobbies, relationships and things that you enjoy
I finished this towards the end of 2024 but I picked it up after watching Frank’s TikTok videos for years before. It’s a pretty solid read to those unfamiliar with FIRE. As someone who would like to FIRE for the freedom of choice more so than the freedom from labor overall, I enjoyed reading.
An instruction manual for aggressively saving and investing. Can’t help but think “everyone’s a genius in a bull market” and “outliars” but the principals of his methods are tried and true. Retire by 30 I think not, live financially free through intention and discipline, now you have me. Reads like an owners manual had a love child with a Reddit thread.
