This is part of the popular series. However, it deviates from the series in the sense that it's not really a restaurant alternative guide. In the beginning, they walk you through the worst grilled restaurant meals. Then it's really a grilling cookbook. I do have to say that it's a good cookbook - a lot of the recipes were already familiar to me, but for basic grilling techniques it's great. There aren't a ton of ingredients and the steps are broken down very clearly. This would be a great gift.
Dropping my rating from 3 to 2 stars after making more of the recipes. The veggie ones have turned out good, but I haven't cared for the chicken ones. My dreams of breaded chicken on the grill have been left unrealized!
Another book of yummy looking recipes. I don't always care for the tone these guys take about "Restaurants are evil!!!!1!!", but the food always sounds pretty good, and I've had good luck with some of the other books. Over all, very worth the read, and seeing if I can track down a copy.
I love cooking on the grill. I love to go beyond the usual things, and try to find some healthy alternatives. I sure hope I have found some helpful hints and tasty recipies in this book.
