"But what will you give me in return?"

FINALLY finished this monster in time for it to be marked as the longest book i read this year. I loved this so much. Perfect for anyone needing to cure their ache after finishing mdzs. The relationship in this is tooth rottingly sweet and it still manages to have the same heavy stakes in plot as the original story. Would recommend. Family was a foundin in this folks.

I missed Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan so much, I had to read ff of them.
In this book, Ww is the Yiling patriarch.
When the high end cultivators are in the verge of loosing against the Wen, they decides to send a message to Ww, to help them.
This book has around 300k words and took me two whole days to finish it.
On that day, Ww wants something or rather someone in return as a marriage alliance: Lan Zhan.
LZ is not happy, he is extremely angry to be stuck with him and is terrified to be abused and raped by him. But little did he know that all the ‘terrible’ are not true.
This book is a slowburn. But when Ww and LZ finally got together, it was unstoppable. They are all over each other. First time, I am reading bottom LZ, and not gonna lie I enjoy it.
They adopted 12 kids in total. But not gonna lie this HEA was what I imagined in the canon. But write mpreg/omega…
