It's a little bit difficult to rate a collection of accounts, since some were more insightful than others. Overall, this was a really fascinating glimpse into how the Cultural Revolution swept up and dismantled the lives of average people. "Whirlwind" seems like a great word for it.

Stories of people that lived through the Cultural revolution. Hard subject but really good read. It's amazing what the human spirit can endure.

Interesting accounts of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. I was saddened by the stories of first hand witnesses to the ten year struggle. It gave me insights into the Chinese psyche.
