This is the second in Pam Blackwell's trilogy about the Last Days. Families pack up to move to Missouri for protection from the consequence of an oppressive world government. The government has fallen and chaos reigns. All people suffer from the restrictions they have felt for the last few years all over the world.

The Indian apostle returns to devastated Salt Lake City to gather his important records and barely escapes with his life. Before he leaves he sets in motion the return to Missouri with disappointingly few members in a large caravan of solar vehicles.

Because there is a price on his head, truckers follow him to get the reward, yet he and his bodyguard manage to escape due to the bodyguard's expertice and their peppy solar powered car.

Story lines of many other people detail how they decide to come to the safe haven - whether members or not. There is an intriguing strong theme of the connectiveness of all world religions to Christ.

This is a fascinating mixture of the visions of church leaders about the last days before Christ comes again, combined with possible scenarios of how it all comes to pass. Pam has a remarkable imagination.

Pam published this series of book herself, so I'm not certain how available they are.

This is the second book of the Millennial Series. The storyline is an amazing take on the future of this civilization and its outcome. She firmly believes that it will affect many of us living now. Pam Blackwell heads the Shakespeare Fellowship at Brigham Young University and has a private counseling practice. What a brilliant mind!
