Children love stories told or read over and over. These stories are chosen to give an introduction to the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The stories have been kept brief and simple, and as Biblically accurate as possible. Each story is accompanied by a small picture for coloring, a "Questions and Answers" section, and a "Bible Verse to Learn."
Here’s a good Bible story set from Rod and Staff for school time!
The story book has a two page spread of a Bible story that is short and accurate. Questions follow. The coloring book has a corresponding picture so kids can color as they listen.
I’m doing this with Penny this year for pre-K.

Content Considerations: nothing to note.
**Like my reviews? Then you should follow me! Because I have hundreds more just like this one. With each review, I provide Content Considerations, mentioning any objectionable content I come across so that parents and/or conscientious readers (like me) can determine beforehand whether they want to read a book or not. Content surprises are super annoying, especially when you’re 100+ pages in, so here’s my attempt to help you avoid that!

I just finished this with my soon to be six year old son. We just loved these stories with questions. It became such a precious time for just him and I to spend with each other a few minutes a day 😁
Good lesson length, easy to understand for pre-school or kindergarten. Had to skip a few bits here are there, since we're not the intended (Mennonite?) audience and don't interpret things in quite the same way, but it's a really great little intro with the coloring book.
