Goddess This??
Brought back from eternal sleep, Thistle is thrown into a whirlwind of events. As she tries to figure out why Xavier woke her up and what he is up to, she battles to stay alive. Someone wants her dead, the Goddess of the Fountain won't see her and is dying. With no heir to the Fountain all fairydom is in danger. King Kyrie helps keep her safe and helps her find answers.
Kimbra Swain has continued to build another wonderful story. Novella? Thistle needs a series.

I really liked this novella, it could have had a little more depth but I understand this is meant to be a short story so you can only get in so many details.
This was actually pretty vital in the trailerverse and will pave the way for what comes next, so I am excited to see what Miss Kimbra gives us.
I like that Kyrie was present more in this, he's one of my favorite characters. The author touched just enough on each area to leave you wanting more - but maybe could have given us a little more - if you know what I mean.
A definite read for sure.

Poor Thistle is caught in the middle of a war! And it seems three sided?!? There is the Wild Queen with an agenda, Xavier is wanting something, and there is the poor heartbroken mermaid that Thistle is trying to keep alive! Kyrie continues to help her on her quest as he is able,and does rescue her once, but she is learning to fight on her own. And she is also finding family coming into the mix, and Void magic, which is scary business! Oh, the places she has to go for answers! What a story!

In this story, Thistle tries to find the Godess of the water. She finds her and has to kill her to survive. The means that she has to take her place for the good of Fairyland.
