Ehhh, the MMC seems like a real gem. At least he's honest; he only wants to own her and sleep with her, and their marriage would be transactional. But the dumb FMC was so driven by lust and instant attraction that she couldn't think straight to save her life.
So yeah, DNF it is. I can't stand dimwit characters. 🙄

Owner instead of husband?
Arranged marriages are not usually my cup of tea, but I really like Marian Tee and she’s written some cute books. She usually tortures her heroines by having the hero push the woman away, and then he finally gets it and reunites with her.
She’s an orphaned girl who has been kind of hiding because her parents were murdered. He’s got a grandmother known as La Strega, who runs the family. She’s been betrothed to him since birth so it’s great when she’s found. He, on the other hand, has an issue with love and the way his mother loved his father. It didn’t turn out well…
KU read, and the first in this series. On to the next one!

She is taken from her impoverished life and showered with rishes. The problem? She has been promised in marriage since she was born. Snd as it turned out, Cesare was better than she expected. So much so that she was soon in love and willing to marry him. Until she learned that in the mafia, everyone was not what it seemed.

The story sucked. It was horrible. Don't waste your time reading it. Homeless Mafia Princess kidnapped to marry. He ends the relationship. They see each other. Conclusion, she takes him back.
