Very interesting reading. Book explores some of the contradictions of the so-called sustainable mining backed by the World Bank. There’s one chapter that explain how state-owned mining companies passed to private hands in the global south, and how this move have affected indigenous communities that lives in remote rich areas in mineral deposits.
