This was an adorable, cute, heartwarming and funny read. I loved reading through the perspective of Pumpkin the cat. What he was thinking is honestly what I think goes through my own cats mind. If you're a cat lover, you will fall in love with this book. My heart is so full at the amount of love Pumpkin had, and that he was rescued by his beautiful human.

I love this book! Pumpkin is an orange tabby who is curious and isn't afraid to speak his mind. We get to see the world through his perspective as he offers his views on everything. This is a heartwarming story that will make you laugh (A LOT). It is short, funny, and so cute. I have never read a book like this. Leslie wrote this story to raise awareness about shelter pets and to share her cat, Pumpkin's adventures with everyone. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has pets or loves animals.

This was such an adorable book and I found myself reading parts of it to my children and they just loved it! Their favorite chapter was entitled “Water Is My Nemesis” and they loved hearing about Pumpkin and his experience with water! Life by Pumpkin is a short read but will have a long-lasting impact! Kept me distracted while my beloved cat is in the hospital, and was great to read on the kindle due to doctor’s instructions to not hold a book for a couple of days. I loved Pumpkin immediately, and his personality was so very much that of a cat’s, but unique as well. I love how Leslie Popp clearly understood her own cat so well. I’m sad Pumpkin didn’t get to see her excitement about finishing this lovely book. Pumpkin’s character growth, despite being based on a real cat, was excellent as well. Only not 5 stars because of some editing errors, but I’ll definitely suggest this to others and read it again.

This was such a cute read about an adventurous cat who dreams of world domination. I adored his relationship with Mom, from the initial adoption all the way through moving and Christmas. Their love was so sweet; it just warmed my heart. I love how the book chronicled his life story and all the daily tasks that go on, including feeding, washing, meeting new friends, playing, and even moving.
Pumpkin was the same age as my first kitty, Daisy Mae, who was not as affectionate but still sweet. My new girls are affectionate and enjoy lap snuggles and pets. It was nice to see the inner thoughts of Pumpkin and compare to how my girls would react. Adorable book. 5 stars!

Have you ever looked at your cat and wondered what they were thinking? Life by Pumpkin offers you the opportunity to get inside a cats mind, with Pumpkin as our main character. You get to know Pumpkin's thoughts and inner musings as the story goes on while witnessing his transformation from shelter kitty to housecat. Each chapter is extremely relatable, with some great laugh out loud moments and musings of world domination sprinkled within. This book is a sweet and lighthearted read, perfect for any age. This refreshing new release is 100% worth the read!

This book is a must-read for any cat parent, or any cat lover. It's the closest I'll ever get to knowing what is going on inside my own cats' minds. It was sweet, heart-warming and incredibly funny. Pumpkin's adventures were numerous and entertaining. It was a very touching book and I could feel the love the author had for Pumpkin through her writing.

It was so cute seeing the perspective of Pumpkin the cat! From my previous experience having a cat, I completely understood all of Pumpkin’s antics.
Pumpkin was a shelter cat, so it’s in support of shelter animals as well, which I will AlWAYS support.

All cat lovers need to read this book. I absolutely loved the stories and adventures that Pumpkin the cat describes in this book. It was so heartwarming to read from a cat’s perspective. Made me want to cuddle my cats for a bit more than usual.
