Sidste nat i Wesli's / Freddy E. Silva

Uh, yeah, no. This promises weird and strange, but mostly it’s just gore and bodyhorror. That’s not even the biggest problem, but a lot of these stories felt like run-of-the-mill horror, with a tophat or some bunnyears tacked on to make it fit the “Alice in Wonderland” brand.
If I had just read one or two, they could probably have gotten away with it, but I made the mistake of reading the whole collection in a couple of days’ time, and that made glaringly obvious – to me at least – how same-y these stories felt.
The story “Tankespind” by Tim Sørensen was the only story that really had that feeling of trying to do something weird and unexpected. I’m not entirely sure if it wasn’t also conceived as something else and then changed slightly to fit the theme of this collection, but since it was a damn good story, I’m not going to think too hard about this.

Perhaps I'm a little biased, but this anthology was a very enjoyable read.
