He is classified as a Middle Platonist. Plutarch's surviving works were written in Greek, but intended for both Greek and Roman readers.

Questioni nel senso di Quaestiones. Plutarco si fa tante domande (oltre 100) e si dà molte e molte più risposte. Come si trattasse di un dialogo fra sé sulla ragione di riti, usanze, tradizioni della Roma arcaica.
Con traduzione greca al fronte.
Decisamente ricco di spunti.
