I was born and raised in a small town in Texas close to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Writing has been in my blood since I was eight years old and wrote my first story for an English assignment. The baby of four children, I was spoiled rotten and still am.

I can't imagine ever writing anything but romances. I enjoy writing about two people (or sometimes more than two) falling in love. If you like the story enough to smile in places, shed a tear at times, or get a warm and fuzzy feeling, that is my greatest reward.

Besides writing at every opportunity, I love reading, traveling, scrapbooking, photography, and learning new things on the computer. I'm a software junky and like trying out new programs, especially anything to do with graphics.

I moved back to Texas after living on the West Coast for 21 years, to a small town 17 miles from where I grew up. I live close to my only surviving sister.

Maggie & Isaac - 3*
Ok but nothing too hot... Husband is annoying and arrogant - don't see him changing... Felt bad for the wife!

Yvonne and Dolan - 3.5*
Cute couple but highly unrealistic insta-love and Yvonne (successful super model) moving to the mansion where Dolan works as a handyman and just leaving her life behind her - yeah right! Also, her sexual issue was played up too much as the main conflict of the story!

Sara & Vince - 3*
Sara divorced Vince because she thought he cheated on her (evidence was very convincing). However, when he comes after her and they meet at the mansion - she forgives all! Couldn't she have talked to him and LISTENED to his version of the story 6 months ago, before she divorced him?!?! Conflict wrapped up too quickly and simply...

Belle & Mitch - 2.5*
They displayed the worst case of instalove!! I get love at first sight, but come on, she tells him she loves him after sleeping with him once and knowing him for one day?! And then - her being 140 years old?!? The whole paranormal aspect of the book was stupid...

The front cover says "if you like Fifty Shades of Grey, you'll love Lynn LaFleur." I have to say that is a very true statement. I really enjoyed Fifty Shades, but to be honest, the writing wasn't very good. This book didn't have anything cheesy about it and was more graphic than I was expecting. Definitely a good book if you want to get turned on. The only negative I found was how quickly the storylines progress. I get that it's just a book but god damn, slow it down a little.

In north Texas there exists a beautiful old antebellum home located on a bend of the Rose River. Exquisitely maintained it is now a retreat for guests with stunning manicured gardens and grounds, trails for hiking or horse-back riding, and a hostess who is as lovely as her home. Belle Patricelli loves greeting her guests, sharing her home, and helping them discover happiness. For you see the lovely antebellum home, Belle on the Bend, has a secret. This secret makes Belle the most unique of hostesses and allows the guests to find what they most need. Our story follows four couples, each with their own unique set of problems, as they experience both Belle and the affects of the secret. Influencing each couple differently, the secret allows them to discover happiness and themselves. Whimsical, touching, and such an unusual method of telling a romance I adored each couple's story. One of my favorite aspects was how the characters we are introduced to in the first part of the story carry through simply adding along the way...and the ending...ahhh! Would definitely recommend as a sweet, southern romance with a touch of the supernatural, simply enchanting.

Four stories interrelated by Belle the main female character. Quick reading nothing too deep and meaningful. I don't think there was enough time to develop the characters but an easy read.
