Being danish, reading this in its original language, was a treat. Dan Turèlls language is impressive and compelling. He paints beautiful pictures both of my home, Copenhagen, and of San Fransisco - a city I now, thanks to him, have put on my bucket list.
The plot though never really had me on the edge of my seat. Maybe if I had read the first 12 books of the series? The tempo was slow and the mood of the book a bit lazy - all on purpose i know but a little too much for my taste.
This book is definitely worth the read though - especially if you're into old school no-rush crime solving.
