A brief colorful board book both written and illustrated by Pete Horacek telling of a mouse scurrying to reach safety. Wonder why mouse needs a safe place.

this is great for a small baby, it shows the basic concepts of up, down, around, through and so on. it's easy for him to understand the mouse and the die-cut board pages fascinate him. well, his little mouth, anyway. this is a good one for the very little.
EDIT
it helps that I make squeaking mouse noises as we read. he loves that stuff.
