Aylia is on a quest to get pregnant, and in the time-honored tradition of her people, she must kidnap a suitable male for the task. Seducing the reluctant warrior is harder than she expected, especially when her body turns traitor and melts at his touch. When he flips the situation around and takes her prisoner, he doesn’t just steal her body. He also takes her heart. And she might just have to kill him to get it back.
Being the scourge of the galaxy comes with consequences, like women wanting his body, but Jaro’s never had someone kidnap him for his seed. Fighting the female’s allure, the captive becomes the captor, and he learns that not all battles are fought using fists and knives. Although, the sword between his legs gives her its best shot.
Through the vastness of space, brothels and unmentionable places in between, can this stubborn pair overlook their pride and past to come together? Or will they forever abduct and pleasurably torture each other?
Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .
I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.
The following ratings are out of 5: Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙 Romance: 💚🖤💙❤️ Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘 World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏 Character development: 🥲😳😋😘
The heroine:Aylia - she is a Zonian warrior who, is not capable of mating with men of her species since she was a foundling. Aylia was charged with going on a mating quest. She kidnapped a male from one of the strongest races in order to impregnate her. Though she isn’t a true Zonian (as in Amazonian, a race of warrior females who only use men for procreation), that life is the only she has ever known.
The Hero:Jaro - Brother to Tren from Accidental Abduction. Jaro and Tren had been fighting for years because Jaro believed Tren slept with his woman. They had been in a competition to become the best mercenary in the Galaxy. Jaro was known as the scourge of the Galaxy. Now that Jaro finally admitted that his brother never did betray him but his former love was sleeping around with others, the brothers have made up.
The Story: Aylia finds Jaro at a live fight. His cousins tricked him into fighting a huge alien creature by telling him that the only one who has beat the creature in a fight was Tren. So she set her sights on him right away. Jaro couldn’t understand what his brother saw in the human woman Tren chose as a mate as Jaro knows humans as barbarians. However, when he finds himself tied up and at the mercy of a red headed human looking woman determined to mate with him, he changes his mind.
The book is told in both characters points of view via dual narration. Like the first book in this series, the narrators are J.F. Harding and Holly Chandler. I thought they were ok in the first book, though their voices are growing on me and I am liking them more in this book. I also liked this story and the characters better than the first book. It was quite steamy and I enjoyed the romance.
The next book in the Alien Abduction Series by Eve Langlais follows Aylia and Jaro. Aylia's on a quest to get pregnant as per tradition of her people, it involves kidnapping the mightiest of a species and mate with them whether they want to or not! Once Aylia sets her sights on Jaro, she knows that he is perfect for her and she'll make him hers. But once she kidnaps him, he starts to stir something in her that is quite unfamiliar. She not sure she will be able to let him go.
Jaro, is the scourge of the galaxy. Unfortunately, he finds himself held captive by a very tantalizing human female, that thinks she's Zonian. A barbaric female species that steal their mates whether willing or unwilling. Her main focus is to steal his seed and become pregnant. But the more time he spends with the female he realizes he'll do anything to keep her.
This one was pretty damned hilarious! I wasnt sure I would like this one as much as the first one since it was about Jaro. I didnt like him much in Accidental Abduction but was very interested in the female who was able to best him. Aylia, did not dissapoint. She was fierce and vulneralble in a lot of ways. Always knowing she was different than the people who raised her and her never flinching loyalty to them and their traditions was amazing to me. Their were a lot of funny moments in this one as well:
Instead of holding back as he usually would until he’d buried himself into a wet and welcoming sheathe, he let himself go, his hips bucking and his cock engorging almost painfully. He shot his essence into her face, the thick cream coating her and entering her mouth when she gasped in surprise. I have to admit, she looks good wearing my seed. As her open mouth of shock turned into a shriek, he started to laugh.
“What did you do?” she yelled, wiping gobs of his cream off her face.
“You wanted my seed, you got it,” he quipped.
“Argh!”
Unfortunately for him, he couldn’t move when she flung her sticky hands at him, splattering him with his own bodily fluids. His laughter was cut short as he cringed from the clammy goo that clung to his upper chest and the bottom of his chin.
“Wipe it off!” he bellowed.
A feral grin lit her face. “Why? Weren’t you the one saying you didn’t want to give me your seed? Well there you go, I’ve returned it.”
That was some funny shit!!
All in all, I greatly enjoyed myself. It was funny and sexy as hell and I loved every minute of it! Im glad Eve decided to release this early!!!
BRIEF SUMMARY Aylia is a Zonian warrior and must follow tradition. As a trained Zonian warrior, her time has come as instructed by her teacher to procreate. She needs to bed a male and get pregnant, as well as hunt for this male off planet throughout the galaxy. Jaro is the male Aylia finds, and abducts.
THOUGHTS This was a fun, humorous, and sexy Sci- Fi book. After getting to know both characters in the book, the story took off immediately. The author surely took you on a journey with Aylia's situation in needing a male and abducting him. In this book, the thought of abducting someone and using them to procreate was not off putting at all, if anything it was interesting and fun. Aylia wanted to follow tradition of the Zonian culture, while doing so; she was clueless with the act of intimacy and many things while hunting Jaro. Jaro was sexy and very appealing to read. He definitely gave the book an added bonus with his approach and charm. Aylia's moment to perform the deed, once Jaro was tied up, was humors but sexy at the same as well. Jaro's revenge and abducting Aylia did not disappoint either, it got even better when the roles were reverse.
Another plus about the book, were Xarn and Brax. They were Jaro's cousins. The moment you read the introduction of Jaro, both Xarn and Brax were a part of that scene. I was sold on both characters, when they gave their reasons for rubbing Jaro down with oil. They were just too funny.
Science fiction romance. 2nd book in the Alien Abduction series. Not quite erotica but close. Amusing and romantic. Definitely on the light side of the genre. I’m loving these purple aliens. Some strange ideas but loving and romantic at heart. This abduction is female driven and the matter of force is handled delicately with attraction and humor.
I listened to the audio version narrated by J.F. Harding and Holly Chandler. The did alternating chapters and view points. A couple of editing issues where the male voice just sounded different like an overlay. And a couple of instances where the female sounded like she had a cold. Overall a well done performance.
Nice storyline with a lot of fun but these two were on my nerves half way through with the I’m going to kill you or I’m going to punish you for this. Then there’s the whole, he doesn’t want me and she doesn’t want me bit. Both of these little details lasted all the way through the book. You get some good laugh out loud lines and very hot sex with spanking, yep she got punished finally LOL. I know a lot of you’ll love this one so by all means try it.
I loved the ending and I’m looking forward to reading the next book Dual Abduction, Eve always lays it on with the threesomes so I know the lady of these two purple guys will get lot’s of lovin;)
I love Eve’s books. They have a great blend of humor, wit, adventure and wow that lady writes some sensually erotic sex scenes. Intentional Abduction can easily be read as a stand-alone, although it is the second book in her Alien Abduction series.
Aylia has been deemed fit to procreate and start her own dynasty by her Zonian trainer. Aylia is not Zonian, thus she must go on a breeding quest to find someone who her body is physically compatible for. Having been raised as a strong warrior she is seeking a strong warrior. What better place to find robust virile mate than a cage fight. Jaro is shocked when he finds himself stripped of his clothes and tied up by this feisty human female. He is even more shocked when she tells him she wants his seed.
Oh this is a funny one. Eve has paired two alpha warriors who don’t know how to let anyone in their hearts. They are strong, conniving, exceptional warriors, but when it comes to feelings and relationships these two are oblivious. Everything is a battle of with them. Aylia and Jaro is a perfect match for each other even though they do not know when or how to express these feelings. The roles of captor and abductee, savior and victim not only often blur, but they switch side quite a few times.
I’m looking forward to the next book in the series, Dual Abduction. Readers are given a tiny teaser about Jaro’s cousins Moe and Curly… I mean Brax and Xarn. Eve is giving her readers a ménage involving these two purple bozos. I can’t wait.
Loved this book even more than the first one. I like that Aylia is a warrior herself and can kick ass (except for Jaro). Can't wait to read about the brothers next.
whew, breath of fresh air after all the laurann dohner misogynistic BS. Liked it a lot! Also, funny! Also I don't gotta go back to work 'til Friday - for the win!
2.5 stars. Yep, equally as bad lol. Thank goodness I only have one more left to read. But its a menage story which I avoid like the plague. Pray that I make it through haha
Brace yourself for the most amazing erotic space ride imaginable in Eve Langlais’ Intentional Abduction. The story is one of the most erotic stories I have read in a while. Intentional Abduction is a raging-hot interracial, futuristic, erotic romance that takes place in the galaxy on Zonia. Aylia, the main character grows up on this asteriod where women reign supreme, smarter, stronger, larger and more dominate than the males who are weak and unacceptable for reproduction. According to Zonian standards Zonian female warriors must search other civilizations for suitable specimens to shire their females babies. When a Zonian female warrior has completed her rights of passage and deemed a formidable warrior she is then released to search the galaxy for powerful male warrior with similar talents to shire a female child. Aylia a curveous, petite, warrior of rare beauty has been released by her teacher, Pantariste to find a strong suitable warrior-mate for procreation. Aylia lands on a asteriod where she watches a contest featuring a male warrior fighting huge creatures in cages for entertainment. Jaro fights with the grace of acrobatics of Cirque Du Soleil. Jaro defeats the beast and excites all of the females in the audience.
Aylia observes this beautiful manly specimen; the biggest, most powerful fighter after he demolishes the horrific creature and immediately knows she must abduct this male for his seed.
The characters Jaro and Aylia have similar personalities, fighting skills and body strength making them well suited for each other. The abduction of Jaro is a success although he is much larger and heavier than other males Aylia has encountered from other asteriods. Usually a Zonian females can throw a male abductee over their shoulder and carry them like a firefighter. The seductress Aylia enslaves Jaro with the help of drugs because his muscular body structure is far greater than she realized.
Ms Langlais creates characters in Intentional Abduction who possess realistic aspects in their personalities, desires, needs and they are terrific. Her imaginative male characters on this asteriod will make your toes curl. Picturing Jaro as a gigantic, purplish, muscular, finely chisel body from head to toe, with the mask of mystery and cape made me weak in the knees. I loved the stimuli. Jaro and his cousins Brax and Xarnx have fierce reputations throughout the galaxy as mercenary, assassins, warriors that caused others to fear and respect them.
Aylia is the Zonian warrior princess features make her stand out from other Zonian women and those of other civilizations. In fact, she is often classified or referred to as a humanoid from the barbarian planet Earth. Aylia skin is very pale - white, red headed, voluptuous along with other human body features. All of the other characters in the story are of various colors and hues: blue, mauve, purple, grey tones and have other unusual body features.
Intentional Abduction is a tantalizing tale of adventurous romance that ignites all of your sensory receptors. Ms. Langalis made me feel every sensation from fighting battles to the sinfully, sexy bed chamber activities.
Intentional Abduction takes into right brain overload. Ms. Langlais descriptions of space ships, characters physical attributes, mannerisms, fight scenes and other actions are fantastic. I love the manner in which this author skillfully takes you on a sensual journey that ignited passion and a quest for nirvana. I would suggest reading this book with some mellow tunes playing softly, a glass of wine oh, and the main ingredient an adventurous partner. This was an introduction to the author Eve Langlais because I tend not to shy away from futuristic genre but I will definitely read the first book of this series: Accidental Abduction.
I said it before and I will say it again... Purple is my new favorite color. The cover might just throw you for a loop... "Wth's with the purple skin?" but I assure you it ceases to be an issue.
My new favorite catch phrase is, "Eve Fever." I just love Eve's work. I wish I could read faster or had more free time because I would just devour everything. Science fiction romance has quickly crawled its way into my mind and taken residence. Thanks to Eve and a few other Authors, I am thoroughly enjoying sfr.
Intentional Abduction features Jaro who after being burned by a woman vowed to never let another into his heart again. But his bed is a whole other story. Aylia, is a human woman, a warrior, who from a young age was raised on a planet far away from Earth and was taught within customs that she soon realizes are not for her.
What happens when the tables get turned on you? Aylia knows all too well what happens. After she sets out to capture Jaro for his prowess he then turns around and captures her instead. Abductor turned prisoner. Intentional Abduction is a fascinating tale of space tango. Both warriors filled with pride and each not wanting to express his or her's true feelings. The results is a tango as entertaining as any other and a romance that's fuzzy bunnies sweet.
Gladly, I rate this title 5 stars because I indulgently enjoyed every chapter. However, I do see a slight lack in storyline outside of the mated pair, action. There is action but I fear that it's not enough for those readers who prefer romance as a side dish. With me and my 'romance appetite' I have no quams... 'romance for the main course please,' I say. Ah, but never fear there is indeed enough action for me and enough of it to have a healthy respect for both warriors, Jaro and Aylia. Suffice to say they create quite a pair in and out of the bed.
All in all, I fiercely enjoyed this title and looking forward to Dual Abduction. If the teaser and title have anything to say in regards to its content then looks like I am gearing up for on hell of a space adventure.
After reading and loving the first book in the Alien Abduction series, Accidental Abduction, I had high hopes for book #2, Intentional Abduction. Sadly, I was disappointed with this one. The story felt disjointed to me and I didn't believe the romance between the main characters. Also, the fun tone of the first book was absent from this story.
First, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the cover. Other than the purple skin, what exactly is going on here? Is he undercover? Is this a disguise or his regular outfit? I have no clue what that's about.
Aylia is a human who was saved from a slave camp when she was very young. She was raised with the Zonians, a warrior race of powerful, female-dominated aliens. Now that Aylia has come of age, it's time for her to become pregnant and start her matriarchal line.
Aylia sets her sights on Jaro, a purple alien and warrior in his own right, for his physical prowess. (He's also the brother of Tren from book #1.) Aylia is attracted to Jaro, but she has one goal in mind and that's to get pregnant. So, she abducts Jaro and attempts to force him to impregnate her.
Okay, this is where the story got weird for me. Not the fact that we're dealing with aliens, not the whole "must get pregnant NOW" mission, nope...it's the way that Aylia basically roofies Jaro, ties him up, and then attempts to rape him. Look, I know this book is meant to be lighthearted and fun, but this scene really bothered me--despite the fact that Jaro goes from non-consensual to consensual pretty darn quickly. Maybe that's just my issue, but the whole premise of this story left me really uncomfortable.
Since that is the basis of how they meet and subsequently get together--they start out hating each other, then eventually fall in love--I didn't find the romance element convincing at all. There's also the fact that Aylia is a wide-eyed virgin and that didn't help her case any. I couldn't find much to like about either character, unfortunately.
I plan on reading the next book in the series, but this one was a huge miss for me.
Holy big purple aliens, Batman! I love this series so much! I mean... cranky, deadly, alpha male alien meets equally deadly, very focused human female who was raised in a matriarchal society. SPARKS FLY! Man, do those sparks fly. It's hot and funny and ... I love these purple hunks!
We were introduced to Jaro in book 1 and he didn't necessarily make the best impression. I mean, he was out to make his brother hurt and, while he had his reasons (or thought he did), he put Tren's lady in danger. Bad Jaro. I have to tell you, as much as I didn't like what he did in the first book, the guy's a hoot. He's a badass and he knows it. He has bounties on his head, people don't like him on principle, and he can't walk down a street without spilling blood. Naturally, his lady is someone that can hold her own against him. She's deadly with a blade, doesn't mind taking advantage of her opponent's weaknesses, and she's a little bloodthirsty. Yeah, they really were fated to be together, weren't they?
As always, Eve Langlais has created characters that had me laughing out loud upon occasion. Her ladies are feisty, her men like to fight, and the sex is smokin'. It's pretty much a winning combination for me and I'm completely looking forward to seeing how Brax and Xarn win their lady over. *thumbs up*
I loved this continuation of the trilogy with Tren's brother Jaro getting his turn at (reluctantly) finding his mate! A human like Megan, Aylia was orphaned young and had been captured by other aliens but rescued by Zonians who raised her as part of a Zonian family so she knows nothing of her true heritage, nor does she remember her human life before being captured but she hides a desire to know more about where she comes from and what she is! I love that their relationship is based on them kidnapping each other! The culture that raised her continues their line by hunting and capturing Males to get pregnant! She chooses Jaro and kidnaps him so when he escapes and she runs he chases her and captures her in revenge (at least he continues to tell himself it's revenge and that he doesn't feel a connection to her!). Eventually he has to admit he wants her because he loves her and wants what Tren and Megan have! I love that we also get an update on Tren and Megan considering they get a place in the book too as Jaro needs his big brother to get Aylia back when he's stupid enough to let her go! We also get introduced to Tren and Jaro's cousins Xarn and Brax! I admit a soft spot for those two as well as they made me laugh with their antics and they appear to be getting the last book in the trilogy! Aylia and Jaro are hot together and a perfect match!
Loved this story and how the two main character grow from start to conclusion. Aylia and Jaro get off to a very rocky, yet sensual, sexy beginning, each learning a little more about who they really are the more time they spend together. Both have very limited and concrete expectations of how their lives should be, and are reluctant to change, but finally learn through each other that life can be so much better when you open your mind and expand your horizons.
Fantastic characters, great story, and super hot sex makes this a five star read all the way!
I really liked this story too, not as much as the first one though, because I found the first one more funny, but other than that it was really entertaining.
And this book had one really mean, determined, badass heroine that I really liked too.
I'm actually enjoying this series more than I though I would since I never really took interest in reading about aliens, I love paranormal and fantasy but sifi never really caught my attention.
Looking forward to the next book hopefully it will be as funny and entertaining as the first one.
Sorry to say that this story didn't really do it for me.
I don't like it when the hero and heroine hate each other through 90% of the book.
Aylia was kinda cold and so disconnected. She is trying to fulfill her adoptive people's mating rituals but come on...live a little and listen to your human side.
Another very cute and amusing book by Eve Langlais. In this story we are treated to Jaro's HEA, a hunky purple alien (aka the scourge of the galaxy) who has been chosen by an Amazonian-like warrior to father her first child. Seduction via abduction ensues and it's great fun to read about them both continually try to gain the upper hand.
4.5 stars for this as well! The 2nd book of the Abduction series was great - and did I mention my favorite color is Purple?? full review here : http://www.risquereviews.com/intentio...
This is book 2 in the alien up duction series. This is the story of a Aylia and Jaro. She is from a warrior planet and must find a mate. He is a mercenary who is bored with his life. She kidnapped him and all the angst starts. This is a funny book I can't wait to read the others.
It was a good, fun read. I liked the feisty heroine, the romance and the smut, the combat scenes, the main and secondary characters. I, however, don't like the idea of Zonian people and their culture. I may say it's quite uncivilized.
