Who said love was easy? It's been a month since Katou ingratiated his way into Iwaki's tiny one bedroom apartment, but the impossibly beautiful blonde refuses to make love to his dark and handsome host. Poor Iwaki's lust has reached the boiling point, and if he doesn't achieve full release... and soon... there's no telling what may happen!

If you have not read Katou and Iwaki, then you bloody have to. This is just so good, feckin sexy and angsty and the guys are so gorgeous. I am in a sex coma, these men know how to put it down.
This a series not to be missed by and yaoi fans and fans of M/M lovin, it has all the sex and drama, and with beautiful artwork. I have to read these guys in small doses or my poor heart will give out. I have Heart Arrhythmia and I would like to live to see another day.
The second volume started with Iwaki and Kato moved together or rather Kato squatted in Iwaki's flat. The relationship of those two was still fragile and faced hardship by the impending tragedy. The family matters stroke Iwaki down only to force his relationship with Kato. There is striking contrast between families of those two men. Kato had happy go lucky sister and parents who accepted them after all but Iwaki had very traditional family with older brother who was not that easy going and rather very proud and stubborn man who felt hurt by Iwaki's actions. The drawing is superb, sex is now not in the main scope but still it is rather saucy.
I really don't know why the artstyle is so wacky in the first few chapters but if you just get through the first 5-6 then it really changes for the better! Embracing love, especially if we take into consideration that it was written and illustrated back in 1999-2009, is a very well-written story, not perfect but very enjoyable! The main characters (Iwaki and Katou) really draw you in with their personalities and you just can't put the story down. Of course, you'll have to keep in mind that this is a yaoi so many explicit scenes are included.
Okay, back in the day, I loved this series. Why? Because gay. That’s literally the only reason I loved it, alongside a lot of other yaoi manga. But then, I got older, smarter, and learned some fucked up shit about life, and then, I returned to most of the yaoi manga I once read. And absolutely hated a lot of them.
All of them, that I ended up hating later in life, involved incest, toxic relationships, rape, borderline rape, slavery, underage, and cringe. You decide which of those fits best with this series.
I absolutely didn't get Iwaki's reactions in this volume. Everything was Katou's fault, no matter what. And what's up with Iwaki smacking Katou around all the time? I have the sensitivity of a brick, I admit that, but Iwaki's behavior's making me uncomfortable because it's bordering on abuse. And, of course, more pathos *cringes*
The art is unique, the sex scenes hot - but the writing is kind of awful.
Iwaki and Katou's relationship builds, with Katou still trying to convince Iwaki that their relationship is real love. Angst and jealously abounds when a returning actor and idol of Iwaki returns to Japan, with ulterior motives against the couple. I think the sexiest scene is where they are modeling together for Romeo Gigolo perfume. Hot!
