Mercy met Rafa, a Spanish exchange student, in high school. Her teenage crush went nowhere thanks to the jealousy of her best friend, Jules. It’s time to make up for denying her what she wanted so badly, so Jules has set Mercy up with Rafa while he’s in Vancouver on business.
Mercy’s nervous about her blind date; Rafa’s just excited to see her again. Dinner is great, but neither of them can wait to get down to the sexy business they’d missed all those years ago.
This was a quick read, only taking about an hr, with a few interruptions. The authors bio read that she writes short stories, so with me not knowing anything regarding this author, I'll assume this was meant to be a short story. This was an ebook that was won from a blog I follow. I'll have to do a bit more research and more reading of this authors books to get a feel for her writing style. I don't want my comments to seem negative in any way, as my review probably isn't politically correct anyhow.
Would it have been better if it was longer and with more detail? Sure, it would, but that's me wanting more from these characters. All in all, it wasn't a bad read.
