Update 12/5/2017
I'm still holding the copy to gift it to choicest enemy for a revenge and a recent like on this review reminded me of the ill-fortune of buying the book (and then trying to read too). Just super-amazed by the 700+ people each who gave the book a 5 star and 4 star.....can one of them really enlighten me how they managed to read it; unless of course they are like the 1500 really really loyal friends the author has.

The guy might have written better book considering he is still finding publishers and coming up with about a book a year at least (writing stuff like this would be be an over-week if not overnight job) but well, I couldn't brave myself to pick up any more of him!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And god knows if I will ever finish...one of the most incoherent write-up with absolutely no editing....I am sure it requires more effort from the readers to read it, than the writer took to write it!!!

Is there a way to negatively rate a book!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Couldn't even bear seeing this book in my currently reading section and hence had to just move it somewhere...yes this book remains with me like 150 pages that should never have been

“FEW THINGS LEFT UNSAID ” conveys very FEW THINGS!!!

Genre: Romance/Fiction

Publishers: Srishti

“FEW THINGS LEFT UNSAID” is the first novel by Mr. Sudeep Nagarkar. It is the story of Aditya, who does not know what he wants in his life. He hates engineering, but ends up taking admission in an engineering college, just because his parents want him to be an engineer. His search for his perfect girl ends when he meets Riya, a beautiful girl, and one of his classmates. One fine day, he proposes to her, to which she agrees. They bunk classes, go on multiple dates, enjoy their newly found love, and their bonding strengthens. And then, the “not so” unexpected happens. One of them starts taking the other for granted, then the regular fights and patch ups, and finally the BREAK UP!!! I will leave the answer to the question “Will they be together again?” for the readers.

Well this is the gist of the 231 page story, and as I said earlier, this book conveys very FEW THINGS. The title of the book promises a lot, and the book has received an overwhelming response (a National Best Seller and 4+ rating on Flipkart.com). But when I read the “hook” of the book, I knew what was in my hands. One of the lines, in the hook (back side of the book), is “FROLOCKING WITH HIS CARRIER”. I guess, the author meant, “FROLICKING WITH HIS CAREER”. But few mistakes can happen... few!!!

Let’s begin with some positives. The last 1/4th part of the book is impressive. As a reader, you tend to feel sorry for Aditya. The climax, though predictable, is well written, and there is no ending. In fact, Sudeep Nagarkar has left the scope for the sequel. So, the readers who have loved this book, this is good news for you. I am sure; the sequel will be out soon. Few moments, in the love story of Riya and Aditya, are sweet and adorable. This book will appeal only to love-breakup-heartache college going “chiclit” lovers. They will not feel disappointed.

Now the negatives... Very very poorly written and edited book. There are innumerable grammatical and spelling mistakes. I always blame the editors/publishers for this, but, I think, it is the responsibility of writers as well to write “somewhat” correct English. The story, itself, offers nothing new. The same love-breakup-heartache college story, with repetitive scenes and cheesy dialogues (my Bachcha, my Bachchu, my Jaan...). The descriptions are poor as well. Just by saying over and over again, that she was looking beautiful, will not make the character beautiful. Readers cannot imagine the characters, unless and until the writers don’t describe them. The ragging scene in which Aditya French-kisses his class-mate (Nikita), is indigestible and totally unnecessary. First of all, Nikita raises no objection, in French-kissing a stranger (Aditya), and secondly, such kind of ragging does not happen in college campuses (anything can happen in hostels, but in campuses???!!! I doubt!!)

In a nut shell, after reading the story, I realized that the author had very few things to convey. The entire story could have been conveyed in less than 230 pages. The scenes are repetitive, and the reader tends to feel bored. The story offers nothing fresh, and the HINGLISH dialogues spoil the magic. The unnecessary usage of “F**k” word is also a letdown.

On the whole, Sudeep Nagarkar’s “FEW THINGS LEFT UNSAID” is an okay first attempt. The story offers nothing new, for the readers of good books. Readers, who like college-going chiclits may/will like this book. The book’s pace is slow, and it offers very few good moments. I am going with 2 out of 5 stars for Sudeep Nagarkar’s “FEW THINGS LEFT UNSAID”.

Verdict: A National Best Seller... but a Letdown, as the story conveys very FEW THINGS.

It was too boring. Every time he (Aditya) sees her, he thinks of her dress, how transparent it is, like that..., my god none in true love thinks that way.And the author was portraying romance unnecessarily. Except bad, worse I don't have any other better words. Seriously waste! What to write a review about this book?? I don't recommend it to anyone who has read "I too had a love story". And it cannot be compared with "I too had a love story".........

I wonder what motivates Indian writers. I can confirm that every novel that is labelled as 'romance' or 'India's best seller' is a utter crap. This is no exception. I don't know why but Indian books made me feel insecure and scarred. Not because of the writing or themes but because of the immature characters in the books. I feel them so shallow. They do all the stupid things and they have a strong conviction that they are doing it right. But the irony is most of people I know in real life are like that. They do behave and act like the characters in 'Best sellers of India'. It is the society I live in. I may relate to them. I may empathize with them but once I stop reading for a minute I feel that I am reading some crap. Needlessly say, this is crap. But I can understand that most of the Indian youth may relate to it.

The book starts with questions like Love or Lust? But the way Author describes the Love, I feel , is lust. I know it's not possible to define Love but at least author should try to say his version of Love. Beyond beauty, beyond calls, SMSes, silly fights, kisses and black spots. And the first ragging kiss, so filmy. So so filmy. I understand it is very difficult to have a sense but at least be honest in your writing.

The best things I did with this is I didn't buy this well-bounded garbage and I didn't read it in detail. It helped me to practice my 'speed-reading' habit. I read it in around like 3-4 hours. I am happy that I didn't let the crap to took a lot of my time.

Please! Please! ALERT!

Aaarrggghhhhh!!
I was fooled. When I purchased it, it was in bestseller list. What's wrong with people or something wrong with me?
Language is gross. Love story is cliche and utterly typical. Songs in hindi in between are enough to irritate you and stop reading.

The story-line is very common, the language and writing style is childish, characterization is average, and the conversations are too cheesy (baccha, bacchu etc.). Same feelings are repeated too often. Lots of grammatical and spelling mistakes. Overall, not a pleasant experience by any stretch of imagination. Difficult to fathom that its a bestseller.

I am someone who believes in completely reading a book, no matter how boring and insipid the book happens to be. Fortunately for me, I have rarely come across such books in my life. But this book is the first that I am dropping without completing, and hopefully will remain the last too. Absolutely stupid, crappy and melodramatic writing!

If such senseless writing is called a best-seller, I pity the depravity that plagues the minds of people who 'enjoy' such books. I couldn't stomach it beyond 16 pages, and the following lines, in page 18 or so made me feel that I have had enough reading this crap -

"I had heard from friends that degree colleges were like a girl's skirt. Men just want to see what is under it. Is the view nice? Is the service good?"

Really, Sudeep Nagarkar??? Will you be happy to share such writing with the women in your family and friends??? Dafuq!

'Few Things Left Unsaid' is a book best left unread!

When a book has a catchy title and cover page, one would definitely expect a treat inside. But it is said that one must not judge a book by its cover. According to me, this is one such book. I mean no offence, this is my personal view and I do not expect people to agree with me. Very average narration, dialogues, descriptions, poor grammar and too much focus on the unnatural, crazy love they had for each other along with usage of words like bacchu, husband, wife and concept of unofficial marriage prevented this book from making a positive impact. The story is stretched so much it, takes a toll on the reader's patience. Also, the story is just like any other story decorated excessively with excruciating pain that the main characters feel when they break up which puts you into another different sort of pain, where you curse yourself for picking up this book.
Even for majority die hard romantic people, this book is a drag. I can say this with assurance because I belong to that category. If I had to be sincere, I would not recommend this book to anyone. I would rather ask them to shell in some more money and go for love stories that really touch your heart and leave a lasting impression, something like "The Notebook", "A Walk To Remember" because these are the stories that have substance, a tale that will move you.
I have more to say but i guess this much is enough for now. I apologise for the harsh and unflattering review but I really couldn't get myself to like this book.

i dnt know i last why the writer writen tht LOVE STORY CANT BE WRONG A GIRL CAN BE

whts that girl had done wrong i dnt know why as the writer pretend tht she made a mistake and the thing is tht the boy start all tht bulshit in the relationship tht he decided to give some time to think abt studies nd in last studies was nothing i dnt know wht left unsaid in last becoz all thing was clear

all i feel by reading this book is tht the writer made so many mistake to write the relationship and all the time there is all abt the male charecter instead of girl he never mention tht wht girl can feel whn the relation broke up

The title of the book is very promising!
The story is such that there's no ending.
The moments of Aditya and Riya are sweet and adorable.
The story will specially appeal to college going folks.
Much detailed explanation of a world around also given.
Really! The person lost in love can achieve anything in this world!
Why am I saying this ?
Read the book and you will know!

What can I say about this book? though I finished it in just one day but still it does not mean I particularly enjoyed this book. No, it was one of the worst book I have ever read. The story was so much simple and there was absolutely no editing. it was not a professional writing at all. It seemed like someone has written this book for the sake of writing it.
I have read few other books of this author but this book has been the worst book of his. The story line is absolutely simple. One guy meets a girl, they fall in love in less than a year. They both make so many promises to stay with each other and all.. they fight. and they break up in less than a year and they are United again..
the characters are built very poorly. The narrative style is also poor and has absolutely no proper structure.
Overall , not worth of time if you are not the fan of author

Poor English.
Grammatical Mistakes.
Storyline was good, but individual scenes were poorly described.

In one of the scenes, Riya and Aditya met after he comes back from Ratnagiri. Riya was telling him that she broke up with Adi, and Adi was trying to call his friend, while Riya was waiting there.

On another occasion, Aditya tried to call Sameer, but it depicted as if Sameer was in person, standing there.

Lots of small things, like this.

#FewThingsLeftUnsaid by sudeep nagarkar Started of very cool and romantically but felt dragged and bored towards the end.but the very climax was happy n cheerful.Epilogue was well done.

This was the quickest read for me.completed entire book in 6hours.not much to talk about language.like many other Indian authors it was amateur. That doesn't bother me.Too many cliches were used.Pre Ending was all about Aditya deciding to "Try on more time to get back riya" four times and again thinking to "move on" two times.this goes on and on.

Overall its a one time fast read if you have nothing else to do.

A pathetic book. Full of spelling and grammatical mistakes. Pathetic editing. It just made me wonder why the book was written. there was no systematic flow in the story line. At certain point some text was in italics and was wondering why it was done that way coz no particular pattern was followed.

I would say the book was very childish it dint atall add value to the personality of the reader. it is a crap material and waste of time i would never advise anyone to read it.

No stars and only one word crap. Please just writing about college romance, does not make one a writer. I am surprised such work even found a publisher. To read that this book is a best seller has me worried.

Sudeep Nagarkar's books have been good for me, for I have read all the books he has released so far, but there is something I didn't like about this book is that when you express emotions, you don't have to explain so much that a person would get bored of it. Thats exactly what I have felt about this book. Things have explained so much that I got bored, but because I have to finish it, it went through it no matter what. Which is why the stars are less.

So many words, so little being conveyed.

...

I had a funny feeling even before starting with the book; maybe it has got something to do with the fact that here’s an Indian author, and that the Goodreads ratings consistently agreed that this particular piece of work was just…okay.

So of course I had to read it.

The plot is generic – like, we are talking ‘plainer than your regular bread’ deal here – with the guy, Aditya, falling for a girl, Riya, in the first year of his engineering in an over the top, enthusiastically typical ‘love at first sight’; with rainbows and sparkles, and a heavy topping of ‘this scene is definitely not realistic for anyone to believe it’ cherries.

The shortest review I can give is: No, don’t read this. Random House is only here for the monies and your suffering.

It was one of the few books I was excited to read. But it turned out to be a disappointment. This disaster states love story of a engineering student Aditya. The novel is not at all well written, The reason for separation between Aditya & his girl is not at all well supported plus characterisation is not upto the mark. In short if you compare a durjoy dutta romantic novel with this, then it is a pure disaster. The reason for reconciliation of Aditya's relationship with riya is like that OF a 15yr old teenagers.! In short this novel isn't worth a read even.!

Some books are meant to be unread(alas! it's impossible), this is one of those.
It is a book which can literally turn a reader into pumpkin. I really wish to claim my time back from the author and publisher of the book, just a banter story of a college going boy revolving around a beautiful girlfriend and senseless (so called love)drama, relationship, sex, breakup, sex, rebound, sex, again breakup, this book if read by an unpolished reader can turn him against reading.
I, surely, not going for another love story, let alone, Sudeep Nagarkar

Itni nafrat hai isse ki yahan itne time baad aaya isse gali dene ke liye. Kidee pade is author pe, and iska last ka twist . Itna gussa mujhe kabhi nahi aaya isse pehele. The author doesn't know how to write. Makes a lot of mistakes and in the end produced a garbage novel. Not worth reading at all.
