Overall, the book was okay. There were some intriguing, thought-provoking sections, and then there was a monotonous feel to other parts. The author wrote in a personal way, you felt like you got to know him as he wrote. It was also interesting that a lot of the issues that were facing the church at the time of this writing (mid-80's) are still at the forefront of the battlefield.
I'm more likely to assign or recommend sections of this rather than the whole book.
