This is one of those books that one goes through at a constant pace. The wealth of information and practical exercises make it an invaluable personal journey tool. I've made it a point to do each of the exercises in the book so as to discover what more I will learn about myself in general.
I love the detail that she has put into the book without being too technical. The second chapter on the brain and brain mapping is necessary to give credibility to the claims she is making in the book at the same time it is not too technical that is makes loose interest in the book. She also notes her references throughout allowing any enthusiasts to research further and delve deeper if they so wish.

Reading this book was something new for me.

Usually, I am drawn to facts and figures and studies and consolidated knowledge.

But this book invites the reader to throw it all away, and trust irrational processes. Throw a coin. Pick a tarot card. Learn from your dreams.

At times, I had difficulty in believing what was being said and in putting aside my skepticism.

But I found the experience rewarding, and had some interesting and reflective moments after reading it. And this is kind of the point.

I don't think that the book is great per se - but I think that it can be a useful and introductory tool to get in touch with a different type and dimension of knowledge.
