Ομως ένας ελέφαντας ; Εντάξει, το βρήκατε, θα μπορούσε να υπονοεί την ύπαρξη ενός τσίρκου, του τσίρκου "Ο' Μάλιγκαν". Και μια παράσταση τσίρκου στην Αγρια Δύση δεν αποτελεί υπόθεση ρουτίνας. Τσίρκο "Κάπτεν Ο' Μάλλιγκαν", λοιπόν, εναντίον Ροντέο "Ζίλχ του Διαμαντοδόντη". Ο μοναχικός καουμπόυ, υπερασπιστής των αδυνάτων, υπέρμαχος της ελευθερίας και στυλοβάτης της προόδου, γίνεται και ακροβάτης και καταφέρνει στο τέλος τα ακατόρθωτα. Και όσο και αν είναι παράλογη η σκέψη "ζώο πολύ μεγάλο, τίπι πολύ μεγάλο άρα και άνθρωποι μέσα σε τίπι πολύ μεγάλοι", εντούτοις είναι λογική η απαίτηση "πρέπει κασόνια είναι από Σκωτία". Και ένδειξη προόδου...μάλλον.

I feel like a lot of trouble could have been avoided if only the Circus had decided to wait a couple days before moving in to do their act. But then, it would also have avoided the happiest ending.

J’ai dû mal à prendre une vitesse de croisière dans ma lecture de Lucky Luke. Certains succès, certains échecs, mais il manque un petit quelque chose qui me ferait réellement accroché. Je n'ai pas aimé celui-ci, je l'ai trouvé plutôt ennuyeux. Je vais en essayer un autre et si la magie n’opère pas davantage je vais laisser tomber.

Leído del recopilatorio de Clásicos del Cómic. Uno de los tomos de Lucky Luke más graciosos e inspirados que leí hasta ahora. El dibujo de Morris sigue llevando la narración magistralmente, como siempre, y el guión de Goscinny no defrauda a la hora de hacer reír (jejeje... ¿cuál es la diferencia entre montar un caballo y un elefante? jijiji...), aunque los personajes no estén del todo explotados.

It's wonderful reading but does not get the ***** star treatment. It's just too absurd and there are some holes in the story. It's a great idea though and has some priceless moments of tomfoolery.

The color separator did a horrible job but I didn't hold it against the rating.

I loved this when I was a kid and now I can also appreciate the fact that Captain Mulligan is drawn after actor W.C. Fields. Goscinny comics always had these references.

In diesem Buch geht es um den Zirkus Mulligan, den Rodeo-Veranstalter Zilch und die Indianer. Am Anfang war Mulligan verachtet. Doch zum Schluss wurden aus Konkurrenzen Korrespondenten.

Das Comic ist meiner Meinung nach gut gezeichnet.

Am Anfang dachte ich, dass Morris hier der Autor ist, weil es goodreads.com so angibt. Doch nein, es ist René Goscinny.

Der Inhalt wirkt meiner Meinung nach etwas in die Länge gezogen. Man könnte auch die Hälfte der Seiten verwenden und trotzdem den gleichen Inhalt erzielen.

Ich habe das Buch für die Aufgabe "Lies ein Buch, das länger als das vorherige ist" für die Lese-Herausforderung N.E.W.T.s. Es hat um 20 Seiten mehr als "Wie Obelix als kleines Kind in den Zaubertrank gefallen ist". Somit habe ich in folgenden Bereichen Aufgaben erledigt:

Fazit? Auch wenn der Zeichenstil gut war, gefiel mir der Inhalt nicht so gut.

Μέχρι να τελειώσει η καραντίνα θα έχω διαβάσει ό,τι Λούκυ Λουκ υπάρχει και δεν υπάρχει. Το Τσίρκο είναι κι αυτό μία από τις καλές περιπέτειες από την εποχή Goscinny. Μοναδικό μειονέκτημα το βεβιασμένο happy end.
