بی‌شک یکی از بهترین کتابهای امسالم.
از متن کتاب:
یکی از نشانه‌های بلوغ کامل، ظرفیت دیدن والدین نه به صورت یک الهه و یا یک هیولا ، بلکه به صورت بشری ناکامل و جایز الخطاست.
این موضوع سبب می‌شود که از آن‌ها توقع بیش از حد نداشته باشیم و با آنها دوستی بالغ با بالغ برقرار کنیم.

one of the first books i read on the mother-daughter relationship. tears, tears, and tears. an opening into the healing that reading about dysfunctional mother-daughter relationships can bring. the power of telling stories.

another book i plan to turn to over and over.
