My niece would probably really like this, but it's just not for me. Way too sweet and fluffy for my taste, and I was in the mood for sweet and fluffy.

This manga was so good that I almost let my garlic bread burn.
The sweetness and purity is just... perfect. I LOVE Cinnamoroll and his adorable little friends! I’ll definitely be getting the next volumes as soon as I can, and I already want to reread it.
Nothing really all that intense actually happens, but I found myself unable to put it down. After all, anything that makes a sweet little kawaii puppy sad is a page turner. I mean, I NEEDED TO KNOW WHY CAPPUCCINO WAS SAD.
*ahem* Anyways, maybe I’m childish and just falling head over heels for these precious pups, but I loved it ☺️

It was obvs SUPER cute, but talking about the premise and the characters is more enjoyable than actually reading it unfortunately. Stories were quick and full of change/action. While it kept me reading along, it almost felt as if each segment ending too quickly and could have benefited from more character building, even just having the puppies chat with one another could have helped build this world and interest that is full of so much cute possibilities. The beginning explains each character and each of the magical elements that you will find in the story which is a helpful element for these very young manga readers. A young child willing to give manga a chance with an existing interest in cute animals or sweets could find a good match in this series.

This is like a manga for 2nd graders. Super short vignettes. Cutesy characters. Some of the drawings/characters remind me of Adventure Time but without the underlying snark.

Cinnamoroll is a puppy with a tail that looks like a cinnamon roll. He has fantastic adventures with other puppies at a cafe and around their world.

The Fluffy title for this manga is very fitting. The stories are all pretty fluffy and quickly resolved (some so abruptly I had to flip back a page to make sure I hadn't missed something). There wasn't anything really remarkable about the plot lines of the stories. They felt like something written for a very short animated filler cartoon. Kids should like the cuteness of the characters and it's completely safe for a little kid wanting to read some manga. Manga books are SUPER popular so I'll add the rest of the series to our library because they are harmless, but don't expect any revolutionary literature when you crack a cover.

No content issues.

As a fan of Rainbow Brite, Care Bears, Moon Dreamers, and Sailor Moon, I found this cuddly story of friendship among the Cloud Kids and flying puppies to be utterly enjoyable. Cinnamaroll, Cappuccino, Chiffon, Milk, and Espresso go on fun-filled adventures while the flying puppy whose father is the Sun and his mother, the Sky, tries to find his own way in this curious, delicious new world.

An older manga for kids this one features a puppy, Cinnamoroll on hi adventures with his friends who have apt names like Espresso, Mocha, Milk, and Cappuccino.

These includes flying through the sky, chasing down Milk who has escaped, fighting back against Cavity, and enjoying sugary treats at a cafe.

Very cute and fluffy, but not filling! Good for kids, if you don't mind the branding.

Cute story about pups named after foods that hang out at a Cafe. Very much a manga that any age would enjoy. All the pups are adorable and work together to solve their problems.

Hit this up for a nostalgic read and…Idk dude, I find this pretty insulting to 7-year-old-me’s intelligence. Art is cute but boy oh boy what on God’s green earth is this story TT_TT

Reason for Reading: Always looking for good, clean, fun manga for younger kids. This piqued my interest.

Cinnamoroll is a Sanrio character created back in 2002 as part of their line of cute merchandising characters. To date he and his friends have been on all sorts of products, in a feature film and this manga series originally published in Japan starting in 2005. This is all I know of him, before this I had never heard of him. Cinnamoroll and his friends are puppies, such exaggeratedly cute pups that they could be a variety of different animals but pups is what they've been called. This manga starts the reader off with a cute, clean, fun story.

First there are 16 delightful pages done in full colour (all pastels which suit the kawaii mood). We are introduced to all the main characters, then the secondary characters and the magic items. Then there are three short fun comics that just jump in involving the characters and give the reader an idea of what we can expect. After this, the art turns to b/w and the main story begins which is extremely simplified in the publisher's summary. We are introduced to all the main characters, how they came to Cafe Cinnamon, how they received their magic items or what their abilities are. We are also introduced their nemesis "Cavity" who has it out for Cinamoroll right from the beginning. The friends find themselves a treasure map and thus begins their quest to find treasure with Cavity showing up now and then to wreak havoc. The main story ends on page 112 and at this point we enter a section called "Around the Seasons" and once again the reader is favoured with short random comics that take place seasonally and let us get to know our characters better. These stories are separate from the main thread of the middle story and are just a place for fun with the characters. The book is very sweetsy cute and certainly girly-girl, and those who fall in that category will probably adore Cinamoroll. I am not into cutesy stuff, but I found the comics entertaining and fun for their intended audience and I will read a few more in the series (depending on how long it is) to see where the main story line goes.

Recommended for little girls 5+, but pre-teen and young teen girly-girls will have a delightful dose of kawaii and enjoy as well.

One of my twins love this series. She fell in love with this book and it helped her improve her reading and instill a love for reading that until now wasn't there. She likes how it reads from back cover to front and it's begging me to find other books like the ones on this series. The other one, who actually is a better reader, hated the format and would not read any more of them. She will get confuse trying to read it on a classic graphic novel order, and will get lost and the story didn't make sense to her. I must admit it took me a little while getting used to the format, but I did enjoy reading such a cute book.I love Hello Kitty and all her Sanrio friends, and this book made me smile. We are going to read all of them on the series.

When I was a kid, I thought Cinnamoroll was the cutest idea I'd ever heard of. I couldn't get enough of it. When I was a kid, I also loved Yumi Tsukirino's manga Magical Pokemon Journey. So when I saw that Tsukirino had written a Cinnamoroll manga, the degree of my squee was immeasurable.

Sadly, I was disappointed by this. The art was adorable, but... it was so BORING. It didn't have the perfect blend of adorable and funny moments that I expected to find in another manga by this author. Maybe I'm just too old.

Cute and fluffy but I won't be going out of my way to pick up future volumes. The highlight of it for me was Yumi Tsukirino's art; I would very much recommend her previous series Magical Pokemon Adventure, which Viz also published in English a few years back. This series reminds me a lot of the anime Ochaken (Tea Dogs) except that Ochaken had more whimsy and less sugar.

At first I thought the book was going to be ok. From the reviews I had read people thought it was alright. I in fact loved this book. Cinnamon-roll is my favorite Sanrio character. This book always put a smile on my face when I read it. I hope that you enjoy it too.
