I found this at my library and am using it as inspiration to clear the clutter. It's okay, but makes you think about what feng shui really is when the author says something like -- mirrors in a bathroom are good for chi, put one over the vanity. Really? No shit.

Reading at least one book about Feng Shui each year seems to brighten up my house. Now that I have children, I chose this one from my local library in hopes that we could straighten up all the items babies added to our home. This book has some good ideas, and a new edition with modern updates would do well. So much has changed in 16 years; I no longer need to know how to organize my DVDs and CDs because I've already gotten rid of so many of them. The photos could use some updating as well since styles have so drastically changed. Still, I gleaned some new organizational knowledge and was encouraged to simplify once again. Fewer than 100 pages, this read was worth my time.

A helpful, instructional bookl on how to eliminate clutter and why it's important. Side note - reading this book reminded me of how much things have changed in the past 20 years. The references to CDs and the pictures of early 2000s vehicles were a nice throwback.

I prefer the author's "The Ultimate Guide to Clearing the Clutter." This is good, but it doesn't contain the helpfulness and detail you can find in her "ultimate" book. It's a good introduction to clutter clearing though.

El Feng Shui es la antigua práctica china de la distribución del mobiliario y del flujo de energía en al casa....
La mayor parte del Feng Shui está controlada por el fluho de "chi" (energía) en la vivienda.

Interesting the way different area of the house effect areas of your life. I could see how clutter can effect them. I didn't like the "body cleaning" suggestions and certainly do not plan on tossing my pictures and photo albumns like they are "clutter"

This book probably is more effective when it isn't adding to your clutter!

Lots of common sense about clutter. But confusing and overwhelming if you don't understand feng shui.

Great at showing the principles of Feng Shui! It was an easy read and makes me want to delve into the topic further.
