Robert Pollack (pseudoniem) was partner bij een groot internationaal advocatenkantoor, en als parlementair advocaat adviseerde hij de Tweede Kamer onder meer bij de vernieuwing van de Wet op de parlementaire enquête. Na bijna vijfentwintig jaar in de advocatuur, koos hij voor het schrijverschap. Daarnaast is Pollack raadsheer-plaatsvervanger bij een van de gerechtshoven. What happened at the beginning of the universe?

I shall never forget the time Dr. Pollack used a NASA drawing of the expansion of the universe to illustrate the enormity of what is outside what we can know.
