I haven't seen the TV show, so it was interesting to try to build a world just from the scripts. Shows what I know - I wouldn't have thought they would work. So much of TV humour is aural & visual. I did find them more effective by the end of the scripts, because I was tuning in to the world & the jokes.

An interesting lesson in just how different writing for TV is.
