This is my secret book! I am the first person to comment on it:) I used to find this book in the HBLee Library at BYU and sit in some wierd old quiet room and read a couple pages here and there. It was a section of the library that books could not be checked out of so it was always there waiting for me under the "motivational" plauqe. LOvEd iT! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I can't really remember if the writting was good. But beacuse of it I look at the sky often, just tonight in fact, made my kids come out of the house to look too!
The title suggests that we should look up and not down, figuratively. We all too often have our eyes down and don't look to what is above. This book explores in simple terms what it is like to strive to not be too down on ourselves. We can find fault with everything and everyone but when we look up those faults don't matter as much. Durrant taught in Church Education his whole career. I've heard some of his audio presentations and they were very good. I would recommend this book if you can find it.
This is a quick read that was written for the LDS audience, but any person who teaches youth would benefit from the sweet reminders and assurances that Mr. Durrant gives as he uses the words of the Apostle Paul to outline what makes a great teacher.
