Some cute projects but the best part is that it covers projects for many different types of pets including a horse blanket, a wire bird feeder and habitats for small rodents and turtles. Of course the cute turtle on the cover is for Fido and there are a couple of lovely dog sweaters (although why you would do fair isle for a pet with claws is beyond me. How would you get it on without ruining it?)

Very sweet although the turtle is the only thing I really want to make.

Adorable book for the pets in your life - written by the well-known authors of numerous other pet-related knit books. The instructions for measuring your dog to determine sweater size is so useful! I found the dog sweaters particularly beautiful - lucky dogs that get those sweaters! More cat items, please. Some pieces are ridiculously cute, though impractical (Hamster House, Dog Balaclavas, Tortoise Hibernation Tent). Great information on reusing human sweaters for dog coats. But all the projects look well done and are very attractive. I don't think I'll make anything from here, but there's much to get inspiration from.

Very cute knitting book. The majority of the projects are dog-related, lots of dog coats and collars. There are, disappointingly, only a few projects for cats, mainly cushions. Some of the other projects are pretty unique. You just don't see many knitting patterns for Tortoise Hibernation Tents, or for fish pond Water Lilies knit from plastic bags. The Hamster House and the Puppy Papoose are totally adorable.

This book totally cracks me up, in the best way. And better yet, the projects are modern and cute!

As other reviewers have pointed out, the variety of projects is superb, taking into consideration all kinds of critters: cats, dogs, horses, turtles, bunnies, etc.

And if you're not into making sweaters and hats for your pets, this book has lots of other options: beanbags, tents, blankets and toys.

I guess creatures other than just dogs and cats need knitted items from their humans. The projects in this book were *interesting*, but nothing I'd acutally knit. The hampster cozy was cute, though! :o)

Oh if only I knitted.
I would make tons of pet pillows, sweaters and toys, maybe I'll have to learn.

Nice range of choices even branching off the typical just dog and cat projects. Will be making a couple for sure before I return this to library. But I cant say which its a surprise!!
