This contemporary collection includes four brand-new inspirational novellas -- all by experienced authors -- that are sure to inspire Christmas Dear Jane by Yvonne Lehman, The Language of Love by Loree Laugh, Candlelight Christmas by Colleen L. Reece, and Love Renewed by Debra White Smith.
Yvonne Lehman founded and directed the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference for twenty-five years. She is author of 59 novels and 16 nonfiction books in the Divine Moments series. Yvonne enjoys mentoring beginning writers.
Her fiftieth novel, Hearts that Survive – A Novel of the TITANIC, (Abingdon), is available in bookstores and at the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, TN where she periodically holds book signings. The Divine Moments books (Grace Publishing) are a compilation of 45-50 articles written by various authors.
Sort of like one of my previous reads; Vermont Weddings. I wasn't as into this one. It wasn't the writing styles or the characters or anything of the sort. It's just that this kind of book isn't my cup of tea. I've come to learn that I'm just very picky about romance novels. I mean these were cute stories with great messages but they just weren't my kinds of stories. But I highly recommend it to romance readers who need a cozy winter read. This is the kind of book you pick up and read by a well lit fireplace.
This book is a collection of 4 shorter stories. I really liked some of them and others not so much. The stories are by 4 different authors, Yvonne Lehman, Loree Lough, Coleen L. Reece, and Debra White Smith. I think my favorite was Dear John which is about a concert pianist who dedicates each concert to Jane.
Don't remember much about this, but one of the stories revolves around the Shepard of Love Hospital. There are several of those, and they just rang as overly preachy to me.
