Hamish Bigmore is a nuisance in these three stories. In the first he's banished to the TV set and keeps popping up on the most unexpected programmes. In the second he nearly ruins the school play and in the third he drives the school bus driver round the bend.

Well done on reading "Mr. Majeika and the School Play" by Humphrey Carpenter. This wonderful story shows us the value of creativity and cooperation. Just like Mr. Majeika, you can apply these lessons by being creative in your play and working together with your friends. Remember, every idea is valuable, and teamwork makes everything more fun!

Really had fun reading this. The story gave me the opportunity to use different voices, which made my daughter laugh

This book is about Mr Majeika a excellent wizard, particularly when his spells go wrog, Hamish Bigmore a student of Mr Majeika,ends up in the TV. Next, a gaint appears in the school play. Then, Mr Majeika gets the whole class on to a magic carpet, and there was an adventure.

My 9 year old son is really enjoying these books as part of his reading homework from school.
