Lake Monsters is one of the best books I've read so far. But if you want to know what happens in the story than you have to read it and find out. This is a really mysterious book that could give you the scary chills cause you won't know whats gonna happen till it happens. One of the quotes that really stood out in this book would be when the guys says "the contact to the first day stood out because of it's size relative to the other contacts, to my mind it was probably a large fish" (69). If you like mysterious books then you'll enjoy this book because it is all about mysteries and how they could be solved. This book is similar to other monster books because most of them are mysterious. Choose Lake Monsters by Paul Shovlin as your next reading book because it is one of the most interesting books i've read and you might love it too.
