I wonder if I would have appreciated this more if I read it closer to the publication date, but having to use this as the textbook in my school library cert courses in 2022 was almost insulting. A lot of the info in here now is VERY outdated. Closer to 1.5 stars than 2.
The second half of the book is the most beneficial for librarians in practice, but for people who are just beginning to examine librarianship or curriculum connections both parts are worth the read.
Rather dry reading, and some of the ideas are very idealistic, but I'd definitely re-read this if I got a job as a school librarian, to give me some goals to shoot for.
