President Boyd K. Packer is known for his outstanding ability to use stories that teach gospel principles in an unforgettable manner. In recounting sixty stories on such topics as missionary service, revelation, judging, self-reliance, bearing witness, following the Spirit, and submitting to the Lord's will, President Packer skillfully extracts a gospel principle from each experience. This enlightening volume can be read cover to cover for personal inspiration or used as an outstanding resource to enrich talks and lessons.

Es ameno el pasar entre una experiencia y otra. Algunas muy especiales y profundas. Aunque la mayoría algo básicas. Se lee bien a uno o dos cada día hasta terminar.
There are 61 to 4 page anecdotes that have been told by the late apostle, Boyd K. Packer. It’s just an OK book but not very spiritually uplifting, which was what I was going for.
"Here is a lesson drawn from a little girl who reported to her mother that her brother was setting traps for birds... 'I know he won't catch anything, because I have prayed about it.' The mother asked, 'How can you be sure he won't catch anything?' Then came a meaningful addition. 'He won't catch anything because, after I said my prayers, I went out and kicked that old trap all to pieces.'" -p60
The stories are short and interesting and they have a good message with each one. I felt assured and convicted in my conscience at different times in the book. So, easy to read and accessible, but also very instructive.
President Packer gives many great little stort stories of experiences he has had in his life. They would be wonderful for talks or even just to strengthen your own testimony of the Savior and the Gospel here in Earth.
I enjoyed most of these stories from experiences in the life of Boyd K. Packer. A few hit me and I realized that I can do some things better in my life.
