This was very specific and insightful of many dangers we can fall into. But I would have liked more hope. I came away feeling a bit like once someone fell into certain patterns or mistakes, there was little hope for redemption. Dr. Joy did mention the possibilities of forgiveness and healing, but I think it could have used more treatment.

Once you've realized you've got issues to heal and work out, this is a good book to read. It is very helpful.
