About the author

Yvonne MacGrory was born and still lives in County Donegal, Ireland. She is the author of The Secret of the Ruby Ring, Emma and the Ruby Ring, Martha and the Ruby Ring, and The Ghost of Susannah Parry. She worked as a nurse in Dublin and London and now lives with her husband and three children. Her interests are reading, drawing, and gardening.

This book showed how hard it was back in Ireland many years ago when Emma makes a wish with the Ruby ring. Emma has heard that she is self center and doesn't care about anyone but herself and when she starts to look at her life she finds that it is true. In this story she learnes how happy you can become when thinking of others. I really liked this story and I can wait to add it in my library!

I can't say anthing thing nice about this book so I won't say anything at all. I did not finish reading it, so it might have gotten better.
