About the author

Born to wealthy parents in Stockholm, Lindforss lived the poet's life. The drugs and alcohol eventually took their toll, and Lindforss was evicted from his apartment, spending his last years as a homeless man. He died in his sleep in a sleeping bag in a church gate in Stockholm.
