Eh, pretty basic stuff here. Probably designed for eager young things in summer institutes, Breuning's text (very much a remedial textbook-like structure, complete with chapter summary and questions) often reads as a professorial apologia, justification of 'foreign policy analysis' in order to avoid departmental cuts: Why My Class Matters in seven simple chapters.

Great for beginner IR students.
It offers a sufficiently sophisticated bibliography for further readings into the basics of foreign policy analysis.
The second half of the book seemed to have many mispellings and grammar mistakes.
