Sakamoto Shin'ichi (坂本眞一) is a Japanese mangaka. He is mostly famous for his series Innocent and Innocent Rouge. He is currently working on #DRCL midnight children based on the classic by Bram Stoker.
The last vestige of trust Mori kun had in people was harshly stripped away by his so called friend. Someone he has always looked up to and was inspired by when he first started his climbing career. Angered and feeling dejected, Mori retreated to Mount Fuji weather station and shut himself up for months until a fateful meeting with someone he had saved from freezing to death changed his course.
Mori kun is now stronger than ever and was quite a well known figure in the mountaineering world. Mori Buntarou is now fondly known as The Immortal Solo Climber.
actually started crying out of frustration when he got his money stolen. AGAIN 💔💔💔💔 i swear if he ends up resolving years of trauma because a woman smiled at him twice im gonna crash out

People suuuuuuuuck oh my god just let Mori live his life and be happy. Every time he has just this one shred of hope left, it gets dashed once again. It's torture. Please let there be a happy moment at some point.
I had seen before how painful the transition to a normal life can be for some people, but this was the first time I had seen it so closely and in such an artistic way.
