I mean wow. I don't recall ever being brought to tears this quickly. The sheer brilliance of every expertly crafted sentence, the weight those words carried is nothing short of genius.

I bet the writer is hot too.

I simply cannot believe anyone would rate this novel anything below 5 stars. I found this book not only captivating, but life-changing: it shifted my perspective on the way I view charity and secrets. In fact, Sam's bravery at the lake was the primary reason I was finally able to get over my crippling phobia of water. In addition, I bought a Border Collie pup just weeks after finishing this book back in 2012 and named her Sam in honour of it. Now, I have Sam's daughter (also called Sam) from her very first litter. I had to make an account when I noticed the 3-star rating this author has, just to do what I can to raise it. I don't know who she is, though I've scoured the internet for other works of hers (so far, all I've found is an exquisite poem from 2009 called 'When Nature Speaks'), but I felt it was almost my duty to review her piece because of all she has given me. I eagerly await her next book, and I'm sure I will love it.

P.S. To the person who left only 3 stars, I hope you mis-clicked, because if you did not, you need to realise you are going to Hell.
