I always forget based on the book cover alone that this book is actually in its own way a retelling of follow that bird, the Sesame Street movie, really the only gold Sesame street movie. Overall it’s nice for collectors value but in terms of comparing it to the movie not so much it does not mention any of the songs or even the “grown ups.” That where in the movie it’s just counting, a bunch of places big bird hid during the movie. However the big doodos and kermit do get mentioned so that’s something. Overall though unless you want this for collectors sake on its own right it’s no where near as entertaining as some other stuff from Sesame Street. (In terms of stuff adults would like from the show, because yes Sesame Street does have a small adult fan base mostly comprised of Jim Henson fans and memers.)

Loosely based on the movie Follow That Bird. Children learn to count to 12.

A good story to help a child learn to count to twelve. I didn't like that the story was based on Big Bird running away from where he was to return to Sesame Street. However, if you don't pay attention to that detail, it's a good story.
