I Believe: When What You Believe Matters!
*Includes a FREE mind-training InnerTalk CD, which retails for $27.95*
What is the foundation underpinning success in all areas of life? Is there a blueprint? What if you learned that your beliefs were the very cornerstones that supported success, and that having a few of these could give rise to success in some areas while complete failure in others? Would you choose to build a stronger overall foundation?
Very few people today doubt the power of positive thinking. We all know that if we expect to fail, then failure is inevitably what we get, and there is also the issue of the mind/body connection—science is repeatedly demonstrating the power of mind and belief to heal. What you believe can and does have a huge impact on the quality of your life—from success in business to success in relationships, from your ability to learn and master new subjects to your ability to heal your own body. But have you ever stopped to consider your own beliefs—to truly examine them and decide for yourself if they are serving you or sabotaging you?
Eldon Taylor has spent over 25 years researching the power of the mind and developing scientifically proven methods to use this power to enhance the quality of your life. I Believe is a book that will not only inspire you, but will highlight the kinds of beliefs you hold that may be causing you to fail. In the process, it will provide you with the opportunity to choose, once again, the beliefs that drive your life.

2 Falsophrenic Stars
A bit of a puzzling LFL offering🤔. Should I be flattered that our local Sentient LFL envisions me as being much younger than my chronologic age? Maybe it senses my "True Spirit" and not the aged vehicle that contains that spirit? One can only speculate...
The cover art depicts a spyro-gyra-like mandala with a variety of affirmations scrolling around it, "My thoughts are powerful", "I believe we are all connected", "I celebrate life with every breath", "I believe everyone should be free", "I believe dreams can build the future"; yes, I'm onboard with the text that is in free flow around the cover (an occult hypnotism😵?).
The content is much like Ethics 101: the author poses a variety of "no win" situations and prompts the reader to reflect on what they would do and why they would choose that specific course of action. For me. this is a case of "been there done that", too many times now, to appreciate what the author is doing here. There are also sections on visuaization, unattachment, the Law of Attraction, the mind-body connection, etc., as well as a chapter titled 'Falsophrenia'.
For readers unfamiliar with the topics herein, or who are new to exploring their own spirituality, values, beliefs, etc. this is fairly engaging and thought activating, but I really recommend you to look elsewhere.
The Forward is written by the author's wife, a previous student of his🙄, whereby she hawks his earlier four tomes. Other than that there is no sales pitch to attend a "spiritual retreat", or subliminal message inducing the reader to become a "cult member."
The included CD contains exclusively light, tinkling type, piano music backgrounded by gentle breeze and ocean sounds...a light vibration now...comforting...peaceful...serene...Eldon Taylor is my Guru😵💫.

You hear it over and over again: Mind over matter. Even as I write it down it sounds tired to me, like a really bad fitness instructor exhorting his class of unmotivated students to push even harder. And yet, it really does matter...a lot.
I Believe: When What You Believe Matters by Eldon Taylor will give you many, many more reasons to check yourself and what you are telling your subconscious mind.
Before you dive right in, check your skepticism at the door. As you look over the Table of Contents you'll see a lot of different subjects, and it would be easy to say, "Oh yeah, in one chapter he's going to tell us that cancer patients cured themselves by believing that they were cancer-free." With chapter titles like "Love and Pain", I can understand your skepticism entirely.
But I read this book in pieces, not as a whole. I'm not sure if it was designed to be read that way, but I felt like it was a great inspirational reference guide when I was struggling in a particular area.
My favorite chapter overall was Chapter 4, "Integrity Inviolate". To me, there are very few things more important than your personal integrity in everything that you do. We live in a world of over-promise and under-deliver. We say we're going to help a friend move when we really plan to have a migraine, for example. We're all guilty of it, so I'm not judging anyone. But Taylor's experiences, like the story about his son receiving $40 extra cash out of the ATM, are great reminders of what we should be shooting for as people.
Chapter 3, "Be Honest With Yourself and Embrace Your Flaws" came in a close second. I loved how looking at your "flaws" differently, and changing your mindset to what you consider a flaw, could revolutionize your world view, and it was one that resonated with me.
Finally, Chapter 14, "Instinct and Intuition", was a good reminder about biases in the way we perceive intuitive messages about ourselves. Of course, this is one of the many reasons people consult psychics, and I am always gratified when a client says to me, "I've been getting the feeling I should [INSERT ACTION HERE.] Can you tell me if you think it's a good idea?" But if you're empowered enough to figure it out on your own without an intermediary, that's ideal.
If you're ready to re-focus and make some life changes, I Believe is a great choice. If you're not ready for change, then this book, like any other book, class, or mindset won't help you much. But even if you're 50% ready for change, this book will re-energize you and show you through Taylor's narratives the benefits of believing in and having faith in yourself above all things.

I Believe was a very eye opening book! I am going through many things right now in my life and it really gives you a lot of information about situations that you deal with in life. For instance, the fact that you can talk to a plant and have it grow better than a plant that is ignored–that is amazing to me. It just shows the power of love! Also the fact that nothing in life will change until we change ourselves.
The book went into quite a bit of detail as far as scientific things I think for my tastes, but overall I really learned a lot from this book and would highly recommend it!
I believe that none of us will find what we seek in life until and unless we first find our authentic self. Once we find that, love and acceptance–indeed the nature of our true eternal being–becomes self-evident. P. 184

Open your heart and mind and let Eldon Taylor meet you where you are. In "I Believe: When What you Believe Matters " He states clearly and simply what he believes and why. He shares stories that bring points home. What he has to say throughout the book resonates with me… with many points, it is as if he’s writing directly to me.
One of Eldon's key elements for me: If you believe something about you or the world around you then that is how it is. If you wish to change something about you or the world around you, then it is your responsibility to step up and do just that…for yourself….without forcing others into it. You can only breathe for yourself…only you are responsible for your thoughts, words, and actions and only you can change them. And you CAN if YOU BELIEVE.
I highly recommend taking the time to read I Believe: When What you Believe Matters
