Explore the apostle Paul's life and mission work in this engaging book. A Portrait of Paul draws upon scriptural record to give readers a clear picture of this important missionary. Author David Vallesky examines the world in which Paul lived, especially as it shaped the apostle's early years and cosmopolitan background. He also looks at Paul's teaching and leadership in the early church. The book includes study questions at the end of each chapter, making it a great tool for personal and group Bible study.
A very helpful book. Paul is often used as a NT example for CGM and CPM methodologies employed today. Valleskey shows why that shouldn't be the case, as Paul's beliefs and methods don't quite match up with many modern practices. Wish more people knew about this book. Grab it (if you can find a copy).
