The Legacy of the Assassin picks up where The Heart of an Assassin left off. Tyler searches to find out all he can about the assassin he killed, the man now suspected of being his own father.
Felicia Giordano survives the attemnt on her life and swears revenge Giordano style.
The novel reaches a climax as the characters come to life and you find yourself rooting for the bad guys...but their all bad guys.
This book needs more editing, the story line, is good but there are inconsistencies that need to be addressed. The story itself is much of what I expected after reading the first two books in this series, it is a coming full-circle that you assume will happen after reading Birth of an Assassin especially. This book is about Theo Gresco and his life and family after he is shot, it is difficult to write a review of this book without giving spoilers for the other two books, if you enjoy Mob stories or crime drama, you may like this series.
One point of contention I have with this book is the penchant to foretell the story in the last sentence of the chapter. I want to read and imagine the story, not be told the story.
