solid and inspirational

This book begins with an inspiring, heartfelt journey of two men praying into something the Lord was leading them about. I loved hearing how they followed by faith. The healing room as it comes back to life continues in this confidence in God’s word and his presence. Few Christians, even teachers who believe in miracles dare to say the things written, like believe before you see and stand on it. And they share testimonies and evidence of how faith works. Hebrews 11:1 demonstrated. I am encouraged and appreciate someone who speaks truth and is not afraid to confront unbelief, which I’m not ashamed to admit is a real thing! And there is fruit to show for it. So many inspiring stories and accounts! But it is refreshing to read a book written without excuses. It has been reassuring, convicting, inspiring encouragement to me.. This book is full of Biblical truths that you’d have to work hard to refute. Unless you base your faith or God’s faithfulness on what you see. But Hebrews 11:1 inspires me, convicts me and has caused me to ask many times, “What does that look like in this situation?” I recommend this book. Thank you Cal Pierce.

As a history of the reopening of the Healing Rooms, it is an invaluable record. Pierce records going to the grave of John G Lake on many occasions, lying on it very occasionally, in pursuit of a mantle to revive the ministry of healing in Spokane. This did not seem inappropriate in the context of the wider story but, in my personal view, it seems to have led to many imitators who want a shortcut to public ministry and are thus flirting with necromancy. Just a small observation on what, in some circles, has become a common practice.

The threads of a tapestry involving several people who, unknown to each other, prayed for a revival of the ministry of healing in Spokane after a dormancy of eighty years is well-chronicled in this book.

This is a must read!!!!
God is not a respector of people, what He does for one, He will do for others.
If you need encouragement that God is not only a Saviour but a Healer as well, this book is for you!
If you need help going to the next level in your healing journey, this book is for you!
If you doubt that God is a healer, this book is for you. Read it and know that He died not only for your sins, but for your sickness too. He not only saved your soul, but your body too.

An essential book to read for anyone that wants to make the most of their life in Jesus here on earth! Most of us have fallen short and lived far below the overcoming life Jesus bought for us. Cal shares how 80 years after the Healing Rooms first opened, the angel in the "gold room" was still there, waiting for this new wave to begin, this revival we are experiencing.

An incredible book of testimony and unwavering faith.

It’s a shame it’s only 140 pages - I could read so much more.

This is a short book and I really enjoyed reading it. He goes through his background, the first healing he ever was part of, and what he went through in the process of reopening the healing rooms in Spokane. I'm not going to comment on the theology that this represents, but I did find it pretty amazing to see how God used this man and organization to bless people.

One of the best books I've ever read! I thought this was going to be boring and "old" but it couldn't have been more awakening to my soul. Life changing, mind changing!
