DA Low presents a compilation of essays that try to show how the British Empire fell. There are several ideas here that resonate very well with the ideas of how the British Empire fell and showing that the British Empire was an accident in history. Overall however I found the book disjointed and very boring to read. As someone who appreciates the historiography of the British Empire there are dozens of books I would recommend before this one. The Oxford History of the British Empire is a wonderful compilation of how the British Empire fell in volume four or Colin Cross book on the fall of the British empire. Regardless look elsewhere.
