Once upon a time in New Jersey, there lived a freelance writer named Lily Adams. When she journeys to the magical city of Paris, she discovers the food is rich, the wine is potent…and one particular Frenchman, Jack Montford, is absolutely irresistible! What Lily doesn't know is that she's actually flirting with a real prince in disguise. Jack is heir to a title and property, not to mention a world-renowned perfume company. And as the Comte de Brissard he's had a mess of trouble with women, especially in finding one who can see the man behind the title. After a night in his bed, Jack's convinced Lily wants the man. But will she keep the prince?
Lily Adams heads to France, her first real travel, to do some travel writing and articles for her blog. At a hostel in Paris she meets Jacques 'Jack' Montford just returned home from aid work in Myanmar and a bad case of dysentery. He neglects to tell her he is wealthy, a Count and a doctor. Within a day he has convinced her to travel to Provence with him to see the lavender farming and perfumery. A day later they are in bed together and the middle of the book is basically a hot affair. But at the end of the week his secret comes to light and Lily is outraged. The reason for her dislike of wealthy people I found weak and their deep love rather unbelievable since they spent most of their time in bed. I have read many better down 'big misunderstanding' books.
Another Harlequin Blaze novella bites the dust. I liked this book. It was a quick read and I laughed out loud a lot with this one.
Lily Adams is in France for the summer. She is on a working vacation. She runs into a man just inside the hostel where she is staying. Jack Montford is back home from having been deathly ill in Burma. He is a relief worker.
Lily has issues with wealthy people. This could be a problem for her budding relationship with Jack. You see Jack is not only wealthy but he is a French nobleman. He has kept this information from Lily but everything comes to a head when Lily finds out by accident.
You will need to read the story to find out what happens.
I love this book cause of the way the story draws you in for a journey. My recommendations are that anyone who love romance and loves stories with princes read this book.
