A bit too woo-woo for me but the organising principles are sound.

I definitely got a shot of inspiration and I'm a professional organiser :)

Way Too Short

Feels very half-hearted. Skimpy on clear instructions and areas. For instance, it covers clothing, home decor, and photos. Nothing on individual rooms or other types of clutter. I finished it in about 30 minutes and was underwhelmed.

Way Too Short!

I don't consider this to be much of a book. There are too many sections that are left open-ended and empty-brainnbrainedkjl.

It may be "common sense", but it's the shot I needed to get off my duff and start moving things out. It's a super short read for people who just need a little motivation. Not too vague, but not too in-depth so that I spend more time reading and less time clearing.

This is a GREAT deal for only 99 cents! The book is exactly what it says it is, a game plan for tackling clutter in a step-by-step practical way, but with flexibility where you need it as well as emotional encouragement, understanding and support when you need that! I like how short it is, making it useful if your time is short - but what is said is important! Along with Brooks Palmer's book, Clutter Busting (which shares a different and equally important viewpoint), these are empowering and motivating. As an astrologer, all I would do is start with a well-timed, well-intentioned energy-clearing ritual, complete with smudging sage as well as taking Rescue Remedy or other flower essences (and spraying in the air too). Purification from Alaskan Essences works really well! :-) While I had seen Tess have great luck with Crabapple essence, I found better luck matching my own issues: Walnut is especially good. I also found Centaury, Larch, Elm, Oak and Olive helpful at times. I will be reading Tess' other books for sure! :-)

Not all of the info appeals to me, but I found it a quick read that sparked fireworks under my chair to get me moving. The author addresses how to make decisions to release what no longer serves the reader, which to me is more useful that a lengthy, detailed instruction manual which would likely prolong my procrastination. I'm going to start clearing, now!

Just what I needed

I chose this download to read while I waited for other Tess Whitehurst titles to arrive. I found it easy to read, and it makes a lot of sense. It is just enough to get me clearing clutter from my life.

Yes!

She packs a lot into a short book. Well done! Integrates the spiritual with the mundane. Some nice rituals too.
