Good read to understand the physics of skydiving and the effects of body positoning.

I don't know if I'll ever jump out of a plane, but if I do, I'm glad I read this book. It gave me a good idea of what all is involved in skydiving. From the history of it, the equipment and training needed to the possible bad endings, this book gave me a good once over. You might not be ready to jump after reading this book, but you'll have a real good idea what will be needed to make your first jump enjoyable!

There's decent information here, but I think there should be better diagrams, and some of the descriptions are pretty hard to follow. There's a bunch of typos and the writing is a bit hard at times.

Book for both static line and AFF students, but also good for repeating material after your course. 5 starts because sometimes it's pretty funny and include very nice skydiving quotations.

Great book especially when you are starting out with skydiving. The book is still relevant and very helpful.

July 20, 2016It may be a good book for a beginner, but non-ci measurement and lot of USA specific in it makes it very hard to make use of it for non-USA skydiver.
